Dr Shirley Fitzgerald is the City Historian, City of Sydney; Chair, State Records Authority of NSW; past President and current Vice President History Council of NSW; past President of PHA NSW Inc; experienced in working in the media; research interests and publications in urban history and history of Sydney. Her publications include Red Tape, Gold Scissors, a history of the Chinese in Sydney and various other studies of the city.

History of Wentworth Park and its activities
Urban historian Max Solling LLB OAM gave up a career in the law when his interest in local history lead him into writing a history of the Municipality of Leichhardt and then a series of histories on Sydney's inner west. His latest book, Grandeur and Grit, a history of Glebe was published in Octobe r2007.
